Nidhogg Clubs - Information

Dear Shot Online Community,

The time has come to introduce yet another brand-new club set. You wonder what's so special about that? Well, don't dismiss it before you've checked it out! Because the new Nidhogg Set offers a number of innovations that will benefit experienced players as well as newbies.

Let's approach the whole thing from a different angle this time and start with a closer look at the wedges, as they differ considerably from the previous versions. The chip distance of all wedges is about 20% shorter than that of previous wedges, such as Fenrir. The reason for that is the significantly reduced weight of the club heads, weighing 200g (SW), 350g (AW), and 366g (PW).

This is particularly useful for players who don't know what to do with all their skill points. They will now be able again to play a short chip shot from close to the hole at 20% power instead of 3%, which should make it easier to hit the zero.

The next change affects the iron set. We've split the irons into two camps. While the 3I, the 4I, and the 5I have gained a little distance, mainly to allow players to use an iron on shots that previously required a wood, irons from 6I to 9I have lost some distance. This has advantages for players at both low and high levels. At lower levels it will now be possible to play shots that are almost chip shots, benefitting from the various lofts and the corresponding reaction of the ball. Those at higher levels will now find it easier to choose the correct iron for shots requiring clubs from 6I to 9I: the key aspect is once again loft variation.

Compared with irons and wedges, woods have received the least significant changes. We've made some small adjustments to the weights of the drivers and the 3W, which are reflected in the shot distances.
