Dear SO Community, We sincerely apologize for the unexpected server downtime on 11.11.06. An electrical failure occured in the building and the server has been brought back up in less than 5 hours. We will be following our Server Compensation Policy and will be granting an extra 3 days to all Gold and Gold Plus Memberships. Again, we apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. Please note: If you had a Gold or Gold Plus Membership at 3PM Server Time on 11.11.06, you will receive 3 extra days of membership. The expiration date will be changed with an added 3 days. However, if you renew your membership, be sure to purchase it after the new expiration date. If you purchase it between the time of your old and new expiration date, you will lose those extra days. For example, if your old expiration date was 11.20, your new expiration would be changed to 11.23. If you renew your membership on the 11.22, you would lose out on 1 extra day!
