Dear Shot-Online Community, The double experience and NG event that was previously scheduled for 9/11/08 as a commemorative marking of September 11th will be rescheduled to 9/21/08 due to player feedback and response to the announcement of the event. We felt it important to mark the occassion within the communities that we are a part of in our day-to-day lives, including the online communities we are a part of such as Shot-Online. The event was intended to foster a sense of unity and togetherness, encouraging users to log on with their friends from the game and enjoy themselves alongside people they appreciate with a sense of remembrance and respect for the spirit of the day. The intentions behind the event were in no way meant to be for commercial purposes, which would be a trivialization of an occassion that warrants the utmost respect, but instead to memorialize it by fostering a greater sense of community and unity within the game as a whole.
