We would like to share a preliminary notice regarding the upcoming changes to the Item Recipe, scheduled to take place during the regular maintenance in September 2025.

This update is being implemented to preserve Shot Online’s healthy economic structure and gameplay environment.
Through recent investigations, we have identified that the Item Recipe is being used in ways that deviate from its original intent.
To ensure a fair experience for all players and maintain long-term game balance, we have decided to proceed with this adjustment.

We understand that the upcoming changes to the Item Recipe may come as an unexpected adjustment for many players.
Please note that this decision and change was made after careful consideration and thoughts.

The Item Recipe serves as a major source of item acquisition for many players.
However, during our investigation into Shot Online’s economic structure and current status,
we discovered multiple accounts were producing items from a single IP address, leading to excessive item distribution.

While this method of play may be considered one way for players to enjoy the game,
the trend of excessive item production and multi-account usage has created an imbalance,
resulting in disadvantages for players who use only a single account.

This indicates that the role of the Item Recipe has diverged from its intended purpose,
and if left unaddressed, could have a serious long-term impact on Shot Online’s economy.
Therefore, we will be implementing changes to address this issue.

We sincerely ask for your understanding regarding this sudden change,
and kindly refer to the details below for more information.

▶ Details of the Update
The Item Recipe, which was previously accessible regardless of membership status, will be divided into two categories: Normal Grade and Premium Grade.

(1) Premium Grade Tab
- Accessible only to Gold Platinum and Diamond Membership users
- Similar items are available to the current Item Recipe, but with craft quantity limits
- Designed to ensure no issues or restrictions in using the produced items

(2) Normal Grade Tab
- Same access level as the current Item Recipe
- Items will be mostly non-tradable and tailored for actual usage purposes, but with required materials will be offered at a discounted rate
