SO Community, The online preliminary is almost completed and we'd like to announce our finals schedule along with detailed information about it. We've made some changes to the finals schedule. The United Cup finals will run for 3 days. Top 16 players with the best scores in the preliminary will participate in the finals. The top score from USA and EU will be the team captains. The captains are responsible for contacting their team members. Dates: 5/21, 5/22, and 5/26 Time: 3:00PM server time for all 3 days Channel: Advance channel 2 on Vallar Course: Rufus Arena Match types: 8 four some matches, 8 four-ball matches, 12 single stroke matches, 1 single stroke match (Between captains if there is a tie at the end) Thursday 2009-05-21 at 3PM on Advance Channel 2 8 Four-ball Matches Course: Rufus Arena Game type: Four-ball Match Holes: 18 holes Time limit: 60 seconds Shot limit: Parx2 Friday 2009-05-22 at 3PM on Advance Channel 2 12 Singles Stroke Matches Course: Rufus Arena Game type: Stroke Holes: 18 holes Time limit: 60 seconds Shot limit: Parx2 Tuesday 2009-05-26 at 3PM on Advance Channel 2 8 Four some Matches Course: Rufus Arena Game type: Four some Match Holes: 18 holes Time limit: 60 seconds Shot limit: Parx2 USA team will be creating the games since they are the defending champions. GM's will be messaging USA players for them to set up the room. Each match is worth 1 point. If a match is tied, the 2 teams will split the 1 point. Team with the most points at the end will win the 2009 United Cup. If there is a tie at the end of the United Cup, a playoff match will be held between the 2 captains (best score of each team from preliminary) Players must show up and be ready to play 30 minutes before the scheduled time of 3:00PM. If a player is not online by 3:15PM, their team will forfeit that match and other team will receive the 1 point. If you have any questions, please let us know. Thanks, Shot-Online
