Hello Shot-Online Community,
We will be hosting a Guild House Tournament. Representatives from each Guild that owns a House will be chosen for participation in the Tournament by the Guild Master. Guild Masters may select any Guild Member they wish to participate in any portion of the Tournament. Representatives playing in Round 1 may again be selected to participate in the next Round if the Guild Master chooses, or they may select a new set of Guild Representatives to participate. Date and Time of the tournament Rounds Round 1 and Round 2 When: Thursday July 2nd Round 1 will start 11:00 AM Server Time Round 2 will start at 1:00 PM Server Time Where: Vallar Advanced 2 Channel FINALS When: 11:00 AM Server Time on Monday July 6th Where: Vallar Advanced 2 Channel There will be 3 Rounds to this tournament: Round 1: Their will be 3 sets of partners serving as Representatives of each guild, for a total of 6 required participants from each Guild. The first set of partners in Round One will be playing on Gleiger, the second set of partners will be playing on Cadeiger, and the third set of partners will be playing on Abel Plena against the pairs chosen from other guild houses. So in total there will be 12 games going on where one Guild is going against one other guild of a similar standing in House Level, Guild Size, and Guild Class for all three sets. These Sets will be playing 18 Hole Four-Some. Each win will count as 2 points and a loss will count as 0 points. Guild House Matchings for Round 1 Peacock Vs. Buffalo Tiger Vs. Elephant Horse Vs. Eagle Lion Vs. Deer *Note Round 1 is not an elimination round, but does affect the way the houses will be matched up during the 2nd round. Round 2: Round 2 will be a singles match of 3 representatives from each Guild House, where they will go up against another Guild House for elimination. The match-ups will depend on the results of the first round, and the way the match-ups will be made is that the team with the highest amount of points from Round One will go up against the Guild House with the lowest amount of points from Round One, and the 2nd highest against the 2nd lowest, etc. The Round will be 18 Hole Stroke on Rufus. A win is 1 point and a loss is 0 points 4 Guilds will remain after this round, with the other 4 being eliminated from the Tournament. Final: There will be 3 sets of partners from each of the 4 remaining Guilds, for a total of 6 players chosen as Representatives from each Guild House. A total of 6 games will be going at this time, and every Guild will have their one of their pairs going up against Representatives of one of the other 3 remaining Guilds so that each Guild will face each other once this round. For example Guild A will have their 3 pairs go up against a pair from each of the other remaining Guilds, i.e. Pair 1 from Guild A vs a pair from Guild B, Pair 2 from Guild A vs a pair from Guild C, and Pair 3 from Guild A vs a pair from Guild D. The Final Round will be 18 Hole Four-Some on Wattsu. The reason why the final is on Wattsu is so that other players may be able to watch the Final matches no matter what their level. Each win in this Final Round will count as 3 points, and the point totals from Rounds One, Two, and the Final will be added together with the Guild having the highest point total being declared the winning Guild at the end of the Final Round. In the result of a tie, there will be a Guild Master Face-Off immediately after the Finals to declare the overall winner. The tie-breaker will be an 18 Stroke game on Pearl Green Island. Prizes: 1st Place: 20000 Campus Credit 2nd Place: 7500 Campus Credit 3rd Place: 4000 Campus Credit 4th-8th Place: 1000 Campus Credit Campus Credit Prizes will be attributed to the Guild Master of the winning Guild during our next scheduled maintenance. Good luck to all of the participants, and if you have any questions please let us know. Sincerely, Shot-Online Team |
