Hello Shot-Online community,

With tonights maintenance, we are proud to introduce the implementation of the new Avatar System!

You can now enable an avatar of Camilo Villegas, Y.E. Yang, or Anthony Kim! Enabling the avatar will introduce new dynamics into Shot Online.

If you choose to adapt one of the avatars onto your current character, you should notice not only a change in the visual appearance of the avatars, but also a functional benefit of supplemental stats!

The visual appearance of the new avatars will add a new facet into the game by letting you take on the appearance of Camilo Villegas, Y.E. Yang, or Anthony Kim. Not only will the 3D models will be changed into the likeness of your avatar of choice, but the appearance of the 2D avatar icon(in the upper left hand corner during play) and the expressions that are associated with that icon will also change to match the player-- even your clubs will adapt visually to match the athletes!

Players are always looking to get an edge over the competition, and with the statistical benefits that the avatars provide they may get even more than they had hoped. The statistical benefits will increase the players attributes and add a new dynamic to game-play.
The following is the actual statistical benefit of each Avatar:

With the launch of the Avatar system, we are also going to have a free trial event!
We will be offering a one day trial for users who wish to adapt the avatars for Camilo Villegas, Y.E. Yang, or Anthony Kim.
The promotional event will be basically a giveaway via NPC Belita in the square. Interact with Belita in the square to receive a one day trial ticket, so take advantage of the event and try out the new avatar system.
*Note:One account can try all three avatars, but we suggest that you do not collect all three from Belita at once, because the duration of the Avatars begin once you have them(in other words, if you gather all three of the trial avatars at once, their expiration date will be at the same time).

How To Use The avatar system:

* Upon arriving to the character selection screen, If you have reserved avatars, a pop up notification will let you know how many avatars you have in reserve(unused).
* You may access the Avatar selection window in the square, while in the games list, and during play by pressing Alt + E.
* You can close the Avatar selection window by simply pressing the 'Esc' key, or by clicking the 'x' button on the window.
* Within the avatar window, you can view the currently equipped avatar, available avatars in reserve.
* You may access and view the avatar details by clicking on the 'info' button on an avatar.
* Only one avatar can be used at a time, however you may switch to another avatar that you have in reserve, but you will lose the currently equipped avatar! Please be careful not to accidentally swap Avatars out unintentionally, because deleted avatars cannot be reversed.
* If you decide you want to use an avatar, click the 'adapt' button to equip the avatar
