New Ranking System!!!
We have NEW content for our top players in the game! A new ranking system will be implemented during maintenance giving top ranked players extra features!
Let’s go over some of the new features!
EXP Ranking – Gain a new ranking depending on how much EXP you have earned in the game.
This new ranking will appear over the heads of players. For example, if you are the highest level player on the server then you will have “Rank 1” above your head in a gold tab. These new rankings will apply for players ranked 50 or higher on each server.
  
There will also be a new box over the heads of ranked players #s 1-10 that will allow them to input their own text. For example a player who is #1 could put “Best in game” in their box since they are the top ranked player for EXP.
These features can be toggled on/off through the in game options panel.
Entrance into the square will now be broadcast channel wide for the three top ranked players. This will be done via the same system that broadcasts Holes in One or Albatross shots now. For example, when the #1 ranked player enters the square it would say “1stRanked Player has entered the square” or something similar. Players in round list and the Auction House would not see these broadcasts, only players in the square.
Rankings added to the Popup Notices in game – The popup announcement screen in game will be updated with a new rankings list that will be updated often. Here you can see the top rated players in the game and potentially see where you are on the list!
NPC Harold will also show the entire ranking page for each server with a new menu option “See level ranking”. This way players do not have to rely on the announcement popup as the sole source of finding this information. The information will include Rank, Character ID, Level (Title) and Character Type (meaning zyg, belz, erda, etc.).
We hope that this new system will give players an incentive to get on the ball and move up in the rankings!
