Hello Everyone,
Some players are having trouble with an error that comes up as "shot_n_01". Here is some information about this error, and ways to fix it:
This error has shown up recently and seems to be connected to your desktop shortcut for the game targeting the wrong game file to launch, or a firewall setting not allowing the game to run properly. To find out if this is the source of the trouble for you, check the following information:
1) Right-Click on your desktop shortcut for Shot Online and select "Properties" at the bottom of that menu
2) Look in the "Target" field and see if the file listed is "shot.exe" or "shotonline.exe".
3) If your shortcut is targeting "shot.exe" change that to read "shotonline.exe" instead
4) Once the shortcut targets the right file again, apply the setting and close the properties tab
5) Try to launch the game again
If that does not work, try following these steps to allow the game through your firewall properly:
1) Access your firewall options panel and navigate to the "safe list" or "pass through list" that keeps track of allowed programs
2) Check to make sure if the GamesCampus folder is present
3) If it is not, add that entire folder to your safe list
4) If that does not help, disable your firewall and turn on the Windows firewall, then proceed with steps 2 and 3 again
This should fix the issue for most players, as it's already worked for quite a few. I've also sent all the info I can about this situation to the dev team so we can get it resolved on our side asap.
