7/24/12 Maintenance Contents!

Hello Golfers,

 

 

Shot Online will be having a scheduled server maintenance on upcoming Tuesday, 7/24/12, at 10:00 PM server time.

 

Below are some of the upcoming changes to the game and the reasons behind the changes.

1. Abel Plena 2nd Renewal - After monitoring the course since the 1st course renewal that took place on 6/26/12 maintenance, we came to a conclusion that Abel Plena is currently not very rewarding compared to the difficulty of the course.

 

So we made 3 (fairly minor) changes to improve the course over-all.

 

2. New System! 'Beginner Caring System' - Click *HERE* for more information!

3. New! Olympic related Quests & Events - Click *HERE* for more information! 

4. Bug Fixes 

- Longest Putter over 50 yards will be reset.

- When a player clicks AnthonyBestra and select the 'Receive Graduation Certificate' after already graduating, the congratulation pop-up window was showing. We added another pop-up message to resolve this issue.
 

- When a master character is deleted, all students under that character will be released now.
- When a master character is deleted, the character made with the same name will now properly pass the Graduation Test.
 

5. Prize Distribution

  Also I would like to remind everyone that if you are trying to have your guild icon/banner submitted, to please do so in the DQA board, by the Friday 5:00pm prior to the next maintenance. Below is the format required for a successful submission: 

Please name your DQA title as 'Guild Icon Submission'
Guild Icons:
Server
Guild Name
Guild Masters ID
Guild Masters Character Name
Image in BMP format (16 by 16 pixels) and 24 bit color
 
Please name your DQA title as 'Guild Banner Submission'
Guild Banners:
Server
Guild Name
Guild Masters ID
Guild Masters Character name
 
Banner sizes: 
Outside the guild room 
512 x 256 pixels 24 bit color
Inside the guild room 
256 x 512 pixels 24 bit color
Must be in JPEG or BMP format, and if you would like them to show up in a specific way, label the files accordingly (left, right, center, outside)

We will make sure to update this News post with more information regarding the new system as well as the new Olympic quests & events.

The level 100 aura bug has been reported to the developers and we will do our best to resolve this issue during the upcoming maintenance as well. (If not this maintenance, the next maintenance on 8/07/12.)
