Patch Notes - 23rd May 2017

You already know a few things about our planned updates, but there's more. Here's an overview of all the changes that are in store for you.

  • • Honor Pro
  • • Legendary Clubs
  • • Club recycling + new maps & treasures
  • • Changes to the SOWC
  • • Weather modifications for Bear Lake
  • • Changes to item names and descriptions
  • • Implementation of player suggestions

Honor Pro

As announced earlier, tomorrow's maintenance introduces Honor Pro to the game. Once you reach level 200, the quest "Becoming an Honor Pro" will be available from NPC Bestra. After completing that quest, you reach level H1 (1) [level 201] and receive the title of Honor Pro.

More information regarding Honor Pro is available in our previously released announcement. Honor Pro!

Legendary Cubs

It will be legen—wait for it... and I hope you're not lactose intolerant because the second half of that word is—dary! Legendary! The legendary clubs are upon us!

A detailed description of how it all works is available in the following announcement: Legendary Cubs!

Club Recycling + New Maps & Treasures

Club-Recycling System

During tomorrow's maintenance we will implement a club-recycling system.
Read more about the Club Recycling System Here!

New Maps & Treasures

From tomorrow you might be able – if you're lucky enough – to get your hands on two new maps. To be more precise, they are the [Map] Legend Crafting Hammer & [Map] Legend Change Hammer.
Sealing these maps requires the "hammer fragment" treasure. Hammer fragments can be found on all 18-hole courses as well as in recycling boxes.
To seal these maps, you also need 100 jewels of each kind and 50 hammer fragments. The jewel limit has been raised from 100 to 500.

Changes to the SOWC

The use of Magos in the SOWC has been restricted. The item can no longer be used during the PvP round, but is still available during the qualifiers.

Please note that you must complete an SOWC round to avoid losing EXP. If you abandon the round, your EXP may no longer be there when you log back in.

Players of Honor Pro rank or higher receive 1 Honor Point for each win, and there are new weekly missions.

Weather Modifications for Bear Lake

The weather at Bear Lake has been adjusted. We've swapped the factors for cloudy and rainy conditions with each other, so that the ball will now travel farther under cloudy skies than during a rainy session.

Implementation of Player Suggestions

1. Extension of collection period for SOGA rewards

SOGA rewards can now be collected until up to 48 hours after completion of the SOGA Tour.

2. Number of World Course attempts displayed

The tooltip of the plane ticket (not the map) now shows how many rounds have already been played.

3. Modification of hotkeys

Pressing the Alt key is no longer necessary. For example, to open the status window you now only need to press "C", and to see the slope you simply press "G".
Hotkey functionality is not enabled when the chat window is active.

4. Simplification of "Varuna's Match Request" and "Beat Bianca"

Those two Scenario Quests have been simplified.

5. Q-School fees deducted after hole 18

The NG payable for the Q-School will now only be deducted after completing hole 18 rather than at the start of the round.

6. Fine Grid

The grid can now be changed from "coarse" to "fine" while playing a hole. It is no longer necessary to wait for the next hole.

7. Changes to the WRT

The number of attempts has been raised from 2 to 3 per course.
Medals or WRT tickets will only be deducted after the round has been completed.

8. Auction House Extension

The number of available auction house slots has been increased from 2 to 8 for non-platinum members and from 8 to 32 for platinum members.

We hope you enjoy the new update!

Best Regards,
Your Shot Online Team
