Beginner Caring System

Hello Golfers,


The upcoming maintenance on 7/24/12, we will be adding a new system to the game that will provide some great benefits to our new players. (This is a great time to start leveling a new character!)

Beginner Caring System is a system that was designed to help the new Shot Online players. This system will provide various items and benefits to the new players when they reach a certain level or when they simply log-in to the game.

See below for more detailed information regarding the new system.

  • The 'Beginner Caring System' will be activated for all new characters made after the maintenance on 7/24/12.
     
  • If you DON'T have a character already, you will receive a pop-up with the following message. 
    "Welcome to Shot Online! Create your character to enjoy Shot Online!"
     
  • If you DO have a character already, you will receive a pop-up with the following message.
    "Thank you for visiting Shotonline! See today's benefit on the 'Newbie Notice Board' in square or round-list."                                                             
          Click 'See Beginners' Benefit' to see the 'Newbie Notice Board'   == >      


    *Note* - You will not be able to see the pop-up, if you have a lvl 41 or higher character already.
                                                                 (What is 'Newbie Notice Board'? See below!)
                      
(You can click on 'See All Benefits' 
 
  • When loggin-out, players will receive a pop-up message that will display the benefits & items they can receive when they log-in to the game next time.  (see below)
                                               
     
  • One of the benefits that will be given to the new players is an EXP buff. This buff will grant x2 EXP for total of 36 holes.
    •  Buff icon - 
    • When you mouse over the buff, you will be able to check the remaining holes left on it.
    • Buff will last for 36 holes and reset once you re-log.
       
  • Below is a screenshot of all the items and benefits that will be given to the new players.

                            
  • You will only be able to receive one of the benefits per day. 

*Note* - 'See Beginners' Benefit' button will only disappear after receiving all the benefits. (Players will be able to receive the benefits even after reaching level 41)

*Note* - It is possible to become level 41 before receiving all the benefits and in which case, x2 EXP buff will be removed starting level 42.
