Welcome to the 2nd United Cup (US vs. EU). Shot-Online proudly introduces you to a team competition on a global scale. For this particular tournament, we have created a special mode of the United States vs. European Union which was inspired by the recent PGA Ryder Cup. If you are from these 2 regions, come and join this world class competition and determine where the best Shot-Online players come from.

Requirements:

[Preliminary]
1) Class / level restriction: Anyone (beginner, amateur or pro) can participate in the 2nd United Cup.
Note – Players from other regions can participate in the Preliminary Tournament. However, even if you have made the cut off, you will not be able to participate in the Final Rounds.
2) Preliminary Green Fee: 200,000 NG
3) Cut off for the Final Rounds
- Top 10 Players from United States and Top 10 Players from Europe will be selected based on their best preliminary scores.
- If there is a tie score, the following tie break rule will be initiated.
--> 1. The player, who submits more score cards by attempting the most tournaments will have the advantage.
--> 2. The player, who submits the earliest score card will have the advantage.
--> 3. The player with the Lower HDCP (of designated golf course: Token Nagoya C.C.) will have the advantage.
--> 4. You are allowed to participate in the tournament with only 1 character (the highest level character per account). You can participate in this tournament 100 times. The best score submitted will be your final score.

ATTENTION :
1) In this tournament (preliminary), the swing bar can be moved ONLY once.
(No practice swing gauge will be provided) There is only one chance to click the bar 3 times. If you do not click on the 3rd bar movement, the system will give you an automatic bad shot.
2) In this tournament (preliminary), you will be playing the preliminary tournament with Mastery Mode Only.
3) In order to receive the prize you will need to play all required matches. Thus, if your team wins and you did not participate in scheduled match, you will not be able to receive the prize.
Shot-Online will not be responsible or compensate with disconnection issues. Thus please participate in this tournament at your risk. Disconnection occurs for various reasons even though server and server connection is property working.

[Final Rounds]
1) 10 best preliminary scorers from each region will be invited to the 2nd United Cup Final Rounds. We will undergo country IP match. If you want to be part of the Final Rounds, your physical Internet connection needs to qualify.
2) Final Rounds Green Fee: you have to provide your own green fees for each game.
3) If one group wins the total rounds even if they have played until 2 round, (for example, if one group won 10 games straight until 2nd round, there won’t be 3rd round)
4) Disconnection / Lag – If there is a disconnection in the during the Final Rounds, whichever team is leading after the 3rd hole in the 1st and 2nd Round or the 5th hole in the 3rd Round will automatically win. If the disconnection occurs during the first 3 holes in the 1st and 2nd Round or the first 5 holes in the 3rd Round, there will be a 1 hole foursome sudden death match game (45 sec). The match will keep on going until there is a winner.
4) Disconnection / Lag – If there is a disconnection during the Final Rounds, the team that has the player disconnects automatically loses the match. A roll call is needed during lag to note if all players answer, thus helping the determination of a disconnect. If we cannot determine who the disconnected player was or if everyone is disconnected, there will be a 1 hole foursome sudden death match game (45 sec). The match will keep on going until there is a winner.
5) Tie Breaker
In the event of a tie, a 1 hole foursome sudden death match game (45 sec). The match will keep on going until there is a winner.
6) Requirement
-Each player who makes it to the Final Rounds must submit screenshots of all their completed score cards through the Direct Q&A Board prior to playing the next round. This is an essential requirement that ALL participants MUST follow.
- We will assign which players are going to be the room creator when we announce the Final Round rosters. You MUST follow the instruction that the GMs give you.
7) GMs will give out the GMs’ MSN accounts to the Final Rounds participants. Please communicate with the GMs through MSN Messenger if you have any issues while playing the Final Rounds.
8) Tournament Method
-all Final Round matches will be 45 second clock
-all Final Round matches will be held on Blue Channel
-all Final Round matches will be foursome match play
-The Final - 1st Round – 6 holes
-The Final -2nd Round – 6 holes
-The Final -3rd Round – 9 holes
9)We will select the top 15 players from each team (10 Finalists + 5 Alternates). Alternates will be able to replace team members if they drop out before the Finals. If a team member does not log in by 2:50 PM Current Server Time on Friday, 10.27, an alternate will take his/her place. Alternates will not be able to take a team members' place on Satuday, 10.28 or Sunday, 10.29. Team members who are late or absent on 10.28 and 10.29 will be disqualified and give the match win to the opposing team. Disqualified team members will not be able to participate in any 2nd United Cup matches and will forfeit all prizes (2nd United Cup Cap, potential $(US) earnings, and SO Master of the Month listing). For example if a team member is late for his/her Round 2 match, he/she will not be able to participate in the Round 3 match. Both matches will result in a win for the opposing team.

Prizes
1. Winners of the 2nd United Cup will be named on the SO Masters of the Month Page
2. The team leader (player who records the highest score on the preliminary) will be named and marked on the statue in the Square at Valhalla Island as the winner of the SO United Cup.
3. Winning team members will each receive Cash Prize of US $ 150. The team leader will receive US $ 450. (You must have a Paypal account to receive the cash prize)
4. Finalists and Alternates will receive a special United Cup Cap with special stat enhancements. *Please note that this cap will be given to the players who make the Final Rounds only.
5. Your fame will forever be remembered as being part of this exciting World Class competition.
