North America Regional Preliminary for GNGWC 2012 - Betting Event

Hello Golfers,


The 2012 North America(NA) Regional Preliminary for GNGWC has started yesterday.

Along with the NA Regional Preliminary, there will be a Betting Event for our players to enjoy. Everyone is more than welcome to participate in this event as all you need is some NG to purchase the event item.

Below is the event guideline / information.

Event name - 2012 GNGWC North America Preliminary Betting Event 

Event NPCs - Freya and Baxter

Event Date/Time -  Saturday, 8/25/12 00:00 server time ~ Sunday, 8/26/12 11:59 PM server time

Note* The 'Red Betting Chip' will be available via NPC Freya starting, Friday 8/24/12 2:00 AM server time.

How to participate - Follow the simple steps given to you below.


1. Talk to NPC Freya.

2. Select 'Use the Item Shop' on the pop-up window.

3. Go to the 'Item' tab.

4. Purchase the 'Red Betting Chip'.   

This item will cost 5,000,000 NG.

(Gold Plus and Platinum members will get a 10% discount)

 

5. Talk to NPC Baxter to see a pop-up menu such as the screenshot below. (The pop-up menu may look slightly different on the live server.) 

 

6. Betting Question is : Guess the level of 6th place in NA Regional Preliminary for GNGWC 2012. Choose a level between 112 to 120  Then, you will use the 'Red Betting Chip' you purchased from NPC Freya, to bet on one of the betting options.

To summarize the event process;

Talk to NPC Freya -> Buy the 'Red Betting Chip' -> Talk to Baxter to use the 'Red Betting Chip' on one of the betting options.

Pretty simple, yes? = ]

Note* you are more than welcome to purchase multiple 'Red Betting Chip' items to make multiple bets.
(To raise your winning chance + NG prize amount.)
 

This event's prize will vary depending on the:

1. Total Prize (the total prize will be the accumulated NG for the 'Red Betting Chip'.
2. Number of winners.
3. Number of the 'Red Betting Chip' used on the winning bet.

Please see the table below for an example.


Accumulated NG for the 'Red Betting Chip' = 100,000,000
Total number of winners = 4 players



1st player, iLoveShotOnline used 4 'Red Betting Chips' on the winning bet which is why he will be getting 40% of the total NG collected and so on and so forth.

Note* 10% of the NG prize will be deducted as a Tax Fee.

On top of the NG prize, we will randomly choose 30 players to give out :
GNGWC 2012 Ball (All Stats +1, 20% EXP, 100 Hole, Non-tradeable)
