Hello Golfers!


It's time to challenge yourself, your greatest enemy!

For the next 8 weeks, try & break your previous record on 8 of our courses.
(A course will be chosen & announced every week on Friday)

What is your record? 

Press, (Alt+P), to open your "Personal Record" window.
Go to the "Handicap' tab.
Your handicap for the event course is your target-record, or the minimum handicap value (see below).

with this event, we will be giving away more than $5,000 worth of CC along with tons of in-game prizes.
Make sure to check this event post regularly!!

Please check the event policies if you reside outside of the U.S. 
 
In order to receive a prize, you must talk to NPC Baxtor and attempt to break your record(handicap) for the event course.
You may submit up to 100 score-cards.

There is a minimum required handicap for each course.
For example, if the minimum handicap for Group A for Abel Plena course is -14, and if your handicap is worse than -14 (e.g., -10), then the handicap you must beat is -14.

If your handicap is better than -14 (e.g., -18), then it is your own handicap that you have to beat.


8-8-8 Break Your Record Event

For week 8, we have prepared a course for Group A and another course for Group B & C

Group A Course: Bianca Fjord
Group B & C Course: Forneus
Time: September 27th, 2013 ~ October 1st, 2013

Your handicap will be recorded when you talk to NPC Baxtor & start your first tournament round.

Minimum Record(Handicap) for each group:
Group A = - 4 (Bianca Fjord)
Group B = - 20  (Forneus)
Group C = - 14 (Forneus)


8 players who were able to break their record by the biggest margin will be awarded, EVERY WEEK!

- 10,000 CC to 10 random players in this category.

Grand-prize Category #2 - Players who broke their records on at least 6 courses qualify for;
- Titleist Golf Ball Pro V1 2013 Edition (12) (With Shot Online Logo) to 10 random players in this category.
- 5,000 CC to 10 random players in this category.

Grand-prize Category #3 - Players who broke their records on at least 4 courses.
- 3,000 CC to 30 random players in this category.

•Important Notes
•Only the highest level character on the account can be eligible for prizes.
•Characters created after 8/08/13, 5:00 PM server time, cannot participate in the event.
•Mulligans do not apply when lowering handicaps
•Please make sure to read the "Handicaps" section below if you;
1. have a default handicap of 28 on the event course.
2. have a worse handicap than our minimum handicap value.

•Weekly winners will be announced every week on Thursday.

•Physical Prizes:
•Physical prizes can only be distributed to those with addresses in the USA.
•Winners with addresses outside of the USA will be awarded with CC equal to the value of the prize in USD.
•Winners must be able to provide a full name and shipping address to claim their prize.
 
•Virtual Prizes:
•Virtual prizes for weekly winners will be distributed on Thursday & Friday each week.
• virtual prizes will be trade-able.
 
•Rules:
•Only characters that were created before 8/08/13, 5:00 PM server time, can participate in this event.

•Handicaps:
• If you have a default handicap of 28, or a handicap worse than our minimum handicap value, your record(handicap) will be our minimum handicap value.
• There will be a minimum handicap value for each group and for each course.

•F.A.Q Section
• Q1. I was level 98 when the event first started but now I'm level 110. Which group do I belong in?
• A1. If you were to level-up during the event week, you will belong to the group you first joined. However, for the future event weeks, you will belong to the higher-level 

• Q2. I have a default handicap value of 28 on the event course. Is that the record I need to beat?
• A2. No. If you have a default handicap value or a handicap value worse than our minimum handicap value, then you will need to beat our minimum handicap value. Please remember that there is a minimum handicap value for each group and for each course.

• Q3. Tie-breaker?
• A3. If we have a tie, whoever submitted their best score-card first, will be the winner.
If the score-card submit time is the same, we will choose the player with a better handicap to be the winner.
If both players have the same handicap, we will choose the lower level player to be the winner.
