von_hinten, you may have problems with traceroute. try to do a ping to shotonline's IP and see where your connection is routed, it may be through several countries, which causes problems.

Are you connected via wireless or ethernet? Makes big difference. Also if you are not plugged in to the 'primary' spot on your router(mine is comcast) you can be kicked by your netflix on your TV or another computer or what ever is in that spot. Anyhow hope this helps :)
