SO Community, GameGuard is currently working on a "White List" for the anti-virus software, AVG. This update is suppose to allow AVG users to update GameGuard without any issues. However, the GameGuard developers are not sure when it will be completed and if everyone using AVG has the same problems. They have suggested to update GameGuard while AVG is disabled or allowing the patching of GameGuard. We apologize for the inconvenience and we hope everyone has a fun and safe New Year's Eve/Day.
