THe test server is back! With new content for you to test, new torunament witch CC rewards, and once again, feedback rewards!
Server Specifications
Location: The Public Test Server is physically located in our US IDC. That means that US and EU players are not expected to experience many lag issues. Since it is a test server, however, it is always possible that some problems may occur. Access: As we said earlier, you can access the test server from any country, just make sure you select your preferred language before you start the game. The PTS will be online for 4 days, from 21/11/2018 - 26/11/2018 Courses: We will limit the amount of available courses on the test server. This will ensure a better gaming experience due to lower memory requirements (on the server) and allow you to focus on testing. The available courses will be Alfheim and Sosori. Clubs & Clothes: You will get a full set of clubs as well as a full set of clothes when you start the game. The club set will be "Fenrir" and the "Mapple" clothes set. Additionaly you will find Zeus and Blast MP sets in your inventory, to mix and match however you want. You will also get 2 sets of our soccer festival balls in 4PC, 3PC and 2PC. Level: Your level on the public test server will be 130.
We'd like you to focus your testing on 2 areas.
Sosori and Alfhein Reloaded! Yes, we also hope that we can give our new baby a proper name soon ;-) When it comes to such a test, there are different things to consider, let us give you some hints on what to test and how. - Play the course as normal. - Go crazy on the course. That means, play in places you wouldn't normally play in, try to hit obstacles, use an unnatural spin on your ball, play in the wrong direction, putt with 80% 3 yards from the hole, in short: do whatever comes into your mind. - Play alone and with friends. - Play in Stroke mode as well as Swift Stroke, Foursome and, if you have too much NG, in Scratch mode. - Check if on the slopes the ball rolls in the right direction. - Check if you experience "invisible walls". - Use your almost unlimited SO experience to give suggestions about the design of a hole (e.g.: if a hole or part of a hole is not playable for some reason, if a green is too difficult, etc.). Don't take this the wrong way, we don't want anyone to think there's a checklist that needs to be completed. We merely wanted to offer some suggestions as to what you could do. The most important part is the feedback. We're going to open a new thread in our forum to give you the chance to submit your feedback. Multi-language client The new client is also one of our test subjects. Since we've never used multi-language clients for Shot Online, we want to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Please check if everything appears in the language you selected, if there are any other problems with the UI, and if all item names and images are displayed correctly. In the very best case the PTS looks exactly like the live game for you. Other than that, everything that doesn't look like your normal Shot Online should be reported.
How To join?
Download the Test Client!
The test client can be downloaded by clicking here. Please make sure NOT to overwrite your live Shot Online Folder! DOWNLOAD THE TEST CLIENT Sow to register: OnThursday, November 22nd when you log to the LIVE SERVER a new button will be present on channel selection screen  Just click the register button and a registration window will show. Select your test username and password, and a test account will be created and linked to your live server account!
We are aware that taking you away from regular gameplay is not an easy task. As such we had prepared some extra rewards for participation in the test!
Tournament! We will hold - for the first time in a long while - cross - server tournament! Everyone can participate! And the rewards will be quite good too! 1st place- 3000CC 2nd~5th place: 2000CC 6~10th place: 1000CC 11~20th place: 500CC All Participants will recieve Normal Rune Pouch +100 All particimants can submit 2 cards on each course. Best score from each course will be taken into the accont. In case of a tie time of submission will be deciding factor. Feedback! The main point of this test is to gather feedback and find issues with the new course and SOWC. Among those who will provide the best feedback to us we will pick 10 players who will receive 3000 CC for their help!
